Dining Room: More Updates!

I have a few updated pics from the dining room since the lighting went in and the side chairs arrived.

We still need some pieces for the back wall (the wreath was there for a shower that we hosted this weekend). Also I need to learn how to not take crooked pictures! The room is not leaning...it's just me!

 Here is a pic with the light off so you can see the cool Edison bulbs! They add a little personality to the space. Anything is better than the light/fan monstrosity that was there before!

The view into the kitchen is very different! More on that in the next post. The fabric chairs also add a little warmth to the space and the nailhead trim mirrors the trim on the living room chairs.

 

Dining Room: New Table!

Here is where we left off with the dining room:

It has since received a new table! The china cabinet went back in as well. Chairs to come. Obviously the large door isnt' staying. It will also get a cool new light fixture!

Dining/Living Room: Refinished Hardwoods!

Here is a quick reminder of the "before"

The baseboards need to be installed and the door needs to be painted, but things are moving along!

Here is the dining room before:

A new light fixture will help the dining room look more complete...and furniture of course!

Dining Room/Living Room: Paint!
